expecting their first baby at the end of August!! Laura and Bruce are very excited about
having the first grandchild for both of their families. Laura told me that she and Bruce have
decided not to learn the gender of their baby before the birth.

"The Collective" will be screened May 30 2008, 7:00pm at the Brooklyn Lyceum Theater.
I just added two of their wedding pics in the Photo Gallery.
It is produced by Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Courteney
also is the lead role of "Lucy Spiller", who is an editor of a tabloid magazine
and Laura plays "Julia Mallory", a Hollywood starlette that "Lucy" tries to get "dirt" on.
Laura says it is a very fun script, a little racy and edgy, and a good direction for her career.
Shooting was completed in LA in March. The show was picked up by FX, and shooting
began in early September 2006.
Tuesday, January 2, 2007 is the scheduled premiere date.

Laura's Engaged!
a few hours before the tsunami hit. His name is Robert Bruce Weyman
(he goes by Bruce), he is 34, he grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and he
is an avid cyclist. He races for a New York based team called Sakonnet,
and also models fashion and dabbles in acting too. They have not set a date
yet, but they are fairly certain the wedding will be very intimate and
"homemade". (Laura's mom wants to bake the cake, and Bruce's mom wants
to arrange the bouquet.) Congratulations Laura & Bruce!!

Update on Laura's indy film!

I just received word from Bruce Marshall Romans, the writer/co-star, that
Laura's indy film, "How You Look To Me" will be playing this Saturday,
May 14, 2005, in Philadelphia, at the FirstGlance Philadelphia Film Festival.
It will screen at 5:30, and all the information can be found at First Glance Films"

independent film written by Louisville native Bruce Marshall Romans,
has been described as a romantic coming-of-age story, starring Laura,
Bruce Marshall Romans, and two-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella.
"How You Look To Me" will be ready for public view sometime in late winter or
early spring of 2005.

Instead, it will be a 2 hour cable event movie. Laura plays Samantha Wade.
Her parents are played by Kathy Baker and John Savage. Actor Ben Crowley
plays Samantha's brother Nick. Filming was done in three specific San Francisco
neighborhoods: Hunters Point, Mission District, and Chinatown.
